Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Margee Quinn, LICSW (she/they), therapist and business owner of RO DBT Seattle.

I love what I do. I work with adult individuals who are motivated to change past survival strategies (restriction, binges, avoidance, emotional eating, compulsions, and other behaviors) that are causing problems in their present lives. In addition to extensive professional training, I bring lived experience of personal recovery from perfectionism and disordered eating to my work. Because these issues are intimately familiar to me, I can serve as a nuanced, attuned, and effective guide on your own unique recovery journey.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I think about how power and privilege impact my clients both inside and outside the therapy room. I’m a white, queer, femme and I strive to provide therapy from an anti-oppressive, anti-racist, neuro-affirming, anti-diet, Health at Every Size (HAES), and feminist perspective. I believe that there is no wrong way to have a body, and that we all deserve access to embodiment, connection, and ease. Additionally, I know from both my personal and professional experience that healing happens in relationship, which is why I provide both individual and group services.
Outside of the therapy room I enjoy spending time with friends, biking, reading queer fiction, experimenting with new recipes, practicing yoga, and soaking up whatever sunshine Seattle has to offer.
Education and Training
I graduated with my Master of Social Work degree from University of Washington in 2020. I’m licensed in Washington as an independent clinical social worker (LICSW) and have worked in mental healthcare for over a decade, since 2015. My clinical experience spans a variety of environments- I have worked in emergency departments, inpatient facilities, partial hospitalization programs, outpatient clinics, and in research settings. Most recently prior to starting my private practice, I worked as a therapist at a community mental health clinic.
